POP:D&D – Red Wizard Emma Watson – VTT Character Token

Seeing the Red Wizards of Thay in the D&D Movie this spring was awesome for me… but for my Wife, a complete nothing burger. They’re basically this movies Death Eaters. Oh, she said.

But who are the Red Wizards? Well… the Red Wizards of Thay are a powerful and notorious group of wizards from the land of Thay, which is a nation located in the eastern region of the Forgotten Realms, a fictional world in the Dungeons & Dragons game.

The Red Wizards are known for their skill in magic, and they are feared and respected throughout the realms for their power and ambition. They are organized into a strict hierarchy, with the most powerful wizards at the top. They use their magical abilities to control the government of Thay and maintain their position of power.

The Red Wizards of Thay are also known for their involvement in the slave trade, as they use their magic to capture and control slaves for their own purposes. Additionally, they have a reputation for being ruthless and cruel, using their magical abilities to further their own goals and interests, regardless of the consequences for others.

In the world of Dungeons & Dragons, the Red Wizards of Thay have been featured in numerous campaigns, novels, and other media, often serving as powerful villains for the player characters to face.

But if some half-wizard like Ms Granger was to defect… she’d definitely use the Death Curse, right?
