#Creatuanary 2024 Day 24
Greetings, adventurers and dungeon masters! On Day 24 of our #Creatuanary Prompt Challenge 2024, we’re nearing the end of this incredible journey. Today’s prompt, the “Cyclone Griffon,” brings forth a creation that’ll electrify your 5e campaigns.
Having recently called Seattle my home, I couldn’t help but draw inspiration from the marine birds that gracefully soar along its coastlines, including the iconic seahawks. With these maritime influences in mind, I set out to create a creature that feels right at home amidst the tumultuous waves of the sea.
The Cyclone Griffon embodies this marine spirit, exuding an aura of tempestuous power. With innate lightning abilities and a once-a-day teleportation skill, they’ve earned both reverence and superstition from local populations. Some may call them “Storm Lions,” while islanders who’ve learned to tame them are known as “Lightning Riders.”
These magnificent creatures have evolved natural adaptations, transforming them into apex predators during the most ferocious storms.
