#Creatuanary 2024 Day 23
Greetings, adventurers and dungeon masters! On Day 23, we’re one day closer to the climax of our #Creatuanary Prompt Challenge 2024. Today’s prompt, “Djinn of the Tempest,” takes us to the heights of elemental power, and I’m thrilled to introduce you to a formidable creation that’s sure to electrify your 5e campaigns.
Dungeons & Dragons boasts a rich variety of genie kinds, including the well-known Djinni. For today’s creation, I sought to elevate the Djinni to tier-two big bad boss status. I’ve increased its CR by just one point, but the adjustments are significant.
This Djinn of the Tempest is higher-class, possibly royalty in Djinn society. It wields the raw power of storms, casting spells to control the weather and unleash lightning on its foes. But what truly sets it apart are its dynamic combat abilities. It possesses two bonus action “reactions” that recharge, one for devastating rebuke-style damage and the other to enhance battlefield maneuverability.
As we approach the climax of Creatuanary, my goal remains the same: to provide you, my fellow dungeon masters, with creatures and characters that spark your imagination in Dungeons & Dragons. The Djinn of the Tempest brings the fury of the storm to your campaigns, promising an electrifying challenge!
