Stegolith: The Earth Elemental Dinosaur – Guardian of Chult
Today’s prompt was, “Stegolith (Earth Elemental Dinosaur),” which I thought was an inspired name that simply couldn’t be ignored. It immediately set my creative wheels in motion. I envisioned a creature that’s a bit gentler that most of the terrible nasties I’ve made thus far. This one is instead, a protector of nature, and a gentle yet powerful giant. 🦕🌿
Drawing inspiration from my past Tomb of Annihilation campaign and the lush jungles of Chult, I knew this dino belonged in these vibrant landscapes. With its essence rooted in elemental earth, I amplified its sheer durability, granting it monstrous strength and constitution. Imbued by the elements of nature, it also possesses some innate magical abilities completing it’s allure. The Stegolith stands as a testament to the harmony between nature and elemental forces.
