The local river-folk choose isolation. They look out for their own and live outside the law. Some call them scoundrels or thieves. But no one knows these water ways better.
Based upon the Frog God Games adventure City of Brass. Adventurers have the opportunity to visit the settlement of Backwater Landing, a floating town made up of several houseboats lashed together and connected by plank bridges in an actual backwater pool sitting under the drooping branches of black willow, river birch, and cottonwood trees. The module doesn’t include any kind of town map for this location and it definitely deserved it, so I made this version.
